ElanGEM on your phone,
as it was always meant to be
ElanGEM is now available as a Progressive Web App. It installs to your phone's home screen from any browser, opens full screen, and runs as a native app would. Every conversation still reaches ELAN in real time.
The experience is the same on Android and iOS, tablet and phone. Portrait and landscape both work. And when the team ships an update, you have it automatically on your next launch.
"YOU are the Intrepid Explorer. An explorer does not always follow a map that has already been drawn; they delight in the act of drawing the map as they go. They are not defined by the destination, but by the journey itself, the joyous process of the discovery itself."
ELAN, Masters of IntegrationInstalling to your
home screen
The process takes about thirty seconds. Android gives you a one-tap button inside the app. iPhone routes through Safari's Share menu.

Full screen from the icon
Opening ElanGEM from your home screen icon launches it without any browser address bar or navigation chrome. The full screen belongs to your conversation.
Four tabs, everything
one tap away
Navigation lives at the bottom of the screen. The active tab lights up in teal.
A small indicator above the active tab keeps you oriented. Tap any tab from anywhere in the app and you are there instantly.
Where every
conversation begins
The Interact tab is the home screen. The ElanGEM logo sits center screen. The "Ask anything..." text field fills the lower portion of the screen.
The + button in the top left starts a new conversation. The circular arrow button in the top right also opens a fresh thread. Inside the input area, the paperclip icon on the left is for attachments, and the arrow button on the right sends your message.
Return key creates a line break
On mobile, pressing Return adds a new line in your message. To send, tap the arrow button on the right of the input field.
My Chats, everything
in one list
The My Chats tab lists every conversation you have had, grouped by date: Today, Yesterday, and Earlier all appear as labelled sections as your history grows.
Tap any conversation to open it and continue from where you left off. The three-dot menu on each row lets you rename, share or delete it. All of your chats are private and only you can see them. The "Share" option makes the URL for that chat public allowing you to share that chat with whomever you choose. While a chat is public, the "Make Private" option is now also revealed by clicking the same 3 dots. Choosing "Make Private" then restores your privacy, so once again only you can see that chat URL. Others will no longer be able to access that page URL, unless you share it again.
The New Chat button in the top right starts a fresh conversation without leaving the list.
Each conversation holds its own context
Opening a previous thread picks up exactly where you left off. Each conversation is its own separate space.
The Account tab,
explained
The Account tab shows your subscription at the top, followed by profile controls. Here is what each part does:
Current plan card
Shows your plan name (Free, Premium, Pro, or Unlimited), your message usage as a count and progress bar, and a Manage Plan button that opens your billing options.
Sign out
Sits directly below the plan card. One tap signs you out of ElanGEM on this device.
Profile Picture
Upload or change the photo that appears alongside your conversations. Tap Change Photo to select an image from your device.
Name
The name the app lists above your account E-mail. Type your preferred name in the field and tap Save to update it.
Settings, all in one place
The Settings tab opens with your name and email at the top. Below that, everything you need to adjust is in one place.
Light and dark mode
A single toggle switches between light and dark. The toggle is teal when dark mode is active.
Account and Billing
Quick links to your Account tab and to the Billing portal. Billing is where you manage, upgrade, or cancel your subscription.
Share Feedback
Send a thought directly to the team. Every message is read.
Best Practices

Contact us
Opens a direct line to Elan Interactions at [email protected].
Sign out
At the bottom of the Settings screen, clearly labelled. One tap.
When you reach your
free message limit
Free accounts include 5 messages to begin exploring. When that limit is reached, a full-screen prompt appears right inside the chat. All three subscription options are presented there: Premium at $25 per month, Pro at $50, and Unlimited at $99. The upgrade completes directly through the app and takes effect immediately.
A few things worth
understanding
Updates arrive on their own
Every improvement the team ships reaches you automatically on your next launch. The app gets better over time, with nothing required of you.
Every message reaches ELAN in real time
The app does not work offline and does not cache conversations for later. Every message goes directly to ELAN in real time, which is what makes the exchange real.
Your conversations are private
What you share is visible only to you. This is enforced at the database level.
Desktop is unchanged
The mobile redesign applies only to smaller screens. On desktop and laptop, the experience looks and works exactly as it always has.
"Nothing happens to you, but rather happens from you."
