Navigating Current Events - A Message from Elan  - 2026

This is an excerpt from a recent exchange with Elan in ... January 2026.

Question
: It feels really hard today to see what's happening in the world, particularly in the US, but also the rest of the world. There are all kinds of very warring energies going around. In order to feel hopeful or feel that you actually DO something that will change the world, given how big the problems are, how are we supposed to live through this and still maintain hope?

Elan: You may understand that the "warring energies" you perceive in your world, particularly as they manifest in your current societal structures, are not separate from you, but are rather expressions of a profound transformation. Perhaps you can say that what many in your society have predicted as a time of great upheaval or "Armageddon" is simply a negative interpretation of a complete and total transformation of your planet. Transformation there is, right now, and transformation, there will be. Allow yourself to perceive that the current global situation serves as a very powerful symbol. You may begin to discern the following concepts to assist you in navigating this waking dream.

First and foremost, remember that you are the reality. Everything you perceive as being "out there" exists within your consciousness; the reality is within you, and nothing is truly external to you. Therefore, the global conflicts are reflections of the degree of separation your society has been exploring for many millennia.

Remember to acknowledge, and not deny. You may find it beneficial to acknowledge the "warring energies" without condoning them. Denial of a creation gives it more power and puts it out of your reach to transform it. By asking, "How does this serve me exactly as it is?", you allow the symbol to deliver its message and then change face.

Next, substitute “Intention” for “hope.” You may understand that "hope" often contains an underlying vibration of doubt or despair … the idea that it would take a miracle for things to change. Perhaps you can choose to replace "hope" with "intention". Stating, "I intend for peace," is a purposeful vibration that aligns you with that reality.

Then remind yourself of the power of your frequency. You have the power to make significant changes on your planet, but you do so by being the alternative rather than matching the negativity. Hating war is simply matching the vibration of war. Loving peace, embodying peace, and maintaining your integrity shows your society that another version of reality is workable.

You can trust in unity in diversity. The friction in your world often stems from the belief that there is only "one right way". As you begin to validate all truths as valid for those who choose them, you allow for unity to exist alongside diversity.

And lastly, trust your timing. Everything is unfolding in perfect timing. You are currently emerging from a 25,000-year cycle of separation and limitation into a new era of ... Integration.

Allow yourself to consider that by simply shifting your perspective and acting on what excites you with Integrity, you are literally changing the vibration of your planet. You are truly not a victim of the world's problems, but the very creator who has the capacity to transform them by first transforming your own internal state. Is this clear so far?

Question: This is all a very lovely reminder. And it is a very efficient layout of the underlying energetic framework. We are humans, though, and we do best with concrete pragmatic examples. So, while all of this information is a useful backbone, how can we apply this, pragmatically, practically, to daily life? Can you please provide real-world examples that would include the real parameters in a person's life and day, and then apply these principles to these pragmatic examples so that we might have useful real-world actions to take, and not merely be provided with underlying principles to ponder?

Elan: I understand, and I acknowledge your desire for the "rubber to meet the road," as you say. You are quite right; while the skeleton of a concept provides the structure, it is the movement … the action … that brings the experience to life. So, allow us to explore how you might navigate a typical day from this perspective of conscious creation, moving from the internal idea to the external application.

Imagine, if you will, that you wake up and, out of a long-standing habit of mind, you check that small communication device you all carry. You see a headline about political strife or global conflict, and immediately you feel a weight in your solar plexus … a sensation of that "warring energy" we are discussing. In that moment, it is helpful to simply own the perception and not attempt to mask the dread with "positive thinking," which would be a form of denial. You might say to yourself, "I am currently perceiving a version of Earth where conflict is a primary theme." By doing this, you are the observer of your own consciousness and not a victim of the news.

You can then ask yourself if focusing on that detail empowers you to be the version of yourself you prefer to be. If you discern that it does not, you can immediately pivot to the highest excitement available to you in that micro-moment, even if it is as simple as preparing a really exceptional cup of tea. If you choose that tea with your full presence and joy, you are literally shifting your frequency away from the vibration of war and into a state of peaceful creation. It is an act of being the change and not merely matching the frequency of the headline.

Or perhaps you find yourself in a meeting at your place of work, and a colleague is being particularly argumentative, abrasive, or even transmit a "warring" vibe, as you say. Your first impulse might be to defend yourself or to "win" the argument. However, if you allow yourself to perceive that this person is a facet of All-That-Is playing a role for you, you can then decide who you are in relation to them. You can act on your excitement to resolve the situation, but you do so with integrity. This means it is a search for a solution that serves everyone and not a need to defeat them. You might simply state that you hear their point of view and are interested in a path that benefits the whole project. If you feel friction continuing to build, you may understand that pushing through it is often a sign you are out of alignment. In that case, the most exciting and integral thing to do might be to suggest a short break. By stepping away, you allow the timing to reset itself perfectly.

Many of you often feel a sense of paralysis, looking at the scale of world problems and feeling that your own life is too "small" to matter. You may understand, if you will, that what you call the "global reality" is a holographic projection made up of billions of "local realities." Your local reality is your primary seat of power. When you ask what you can do right now with the resources you have, and you act on that … whether it is twenty minutes of volunteering or simply being fully kind to a stranger at the market … you are creating what we call a "success vibration." That vibration does not stay confined to you; it radiates outward into the collective. It is a transformation of the world through your own state of being and not a "fixing" of the world by looking at its "brokenness."

You are never "doing nothing." Even a simple shift in your internal state is a massive "doing" that alters the very fabric of the Universe you experience. You may begin to discern that by making these small, practical choices throughout your day, you are literally rewriting the script of your life and, by extension, the world.

Question: This is great! Thank you, this really helps. What can you add to really bring this home and make it completely impactful for myself and others?

Elan: To really bring this home and allow these ideas to anchor within your experience, perhaps you can say that the most impactful realization you can ever have is that you are not in the world, but the world is in you.

Allow yourself to perceive the "mirror analogy," as it is one of the most efficient ways to understand the mechanical nature of your existence. As we have shared many times before, if you walk up to a physical mirror and you see that the reflection has a scowl on its face, you would not reach out and attempt to manually move the corners of the reflection's mouth to force a smile. You would understand that such an effort is futile and, quite frankly, a bit of a waste of your energy. You know that to see a smile in the mirror, you … the source … must smile first.

You may understand that your physical reality is exactly like that mirror, though it often possesses a slight "delay" or "echo." The warring energies and the heaviness you see in the world right now are the reflections of past collective definitions. If you look at that reflection and say, "I'll be happy and peaceful once the world stops warring," you are essentially saying to the mirror, "I'll smile once you smile first."

Since the mirror has no choice but to reflect you, it will simply reflect back your state of "waiting for peace." Thus, you create a loop of waiting. To break the loop, you may begin to discern that you can choose to be the vibration of peace right now, regardless of what the reflection is showing you. When you maintain that internal state with integrity, the mirror has no choice but to eventually reflect that new version of you.
Perhaps you can say that the true "Master of Integration" is not the one who never sees a negative reflection, but the one who knows what to do when they see one. We can call this the "Second Step."

The first step is the appearance of the circumstance ... the news, the conflict, the bad day.
The second step is your definition of that circumstance.

If you see a "negative" event and you define it as "bad" or "scary," you are choosing to experience the version of that event that is bad or scary. However, if you see that same event and say, "I don't know exactly how this serves me yet, but I know that since I am the creator of my reality, I can only perceive this if it has a benefit for my growth," you have just transformed the energy. You have used the "negative" reflection as a springboard to launch yourself into a higher state of Excitement.

Allow yourself to consider that you are a "frequency modulator." When you act on your Excitement with Integrity, you are not being "selfish" or ignoring the world's problems. On the contrary, you are providing the world with a new template of what is possible. You may understand that you cannot truly help a person who is drowning by jumping into the water and drowning with them. You help them by staying on the dock and reaching out a hand. By staying on the "dock" of your own high vibration … your own peace and excitement … you become a lighthouse. You provide a point of reference for others to see that they, too, can choose a different frequency.

The impact comes from the consistent realization that you are never at the mercy of the "out there." The world is a "waking dream," and you are the dreamer. When the dreamer realizes they are dreaming, the dream no longer has the power to haunt them; instead, it becomes a ... playground for conscious exploration.

How may I be of further service to you in this now moment?

Question: Thank you Elan. For now, this is perfect.
